In its letter of notification, Norwegian Statnett, a renowned electric power transmission company, informed that, after the evaluation process, the offer made by the company Dalekovod d.d. was chosen as the best one according to the criteria of the tender for the construction of a new 420 kV transmission line between Skillemoen and Skaidi substations in the total length of 89 km. The project includes deployment and upgrading of five existing 132 kV lines, and it is specific that, due to its position on the far north of Norway, more than 300 kilometers north of Tromso, it will be built in Arctic weather conditions.
The value of construction works to be realized by the end of 2022 is more than EUR 52 million and the contract will be signed after Statnett's final investment decision has been confirmed.
